Abstract (en) | The ATLAS trigger system is a differentiated decision system, the criteria of which are determinded among other things by the energies of electrons created in proton-proton collisions. In this diploma thesis, a method for the calibration of the energy measurement performed by the trigger is developed and evaluated. The method uses information from the offline analysis for the identification of electrons, and as a reference value for the energy calibration. Using simulated data, we investigate and test the precision of this calibration for different integrated luminosities. The developed software has been successfully tested for initial data. |
